트럼프를 저격하는 글로 도배가 되어 있다고 합니다. 이에 트럼프 또한 반격을 가하고 있는 상황인데요, 이 와중에 북한 외교 내용과 더불어 국내 정세가 불안해지고 있습니다.

우선, 볼튼은 다음과 같이 말하고 있다고 합니다.

“트럼프, 시진핑에 재선 도와달라고 간청”
“트럼프 대통령은 시 주석에서 자신의 승리가 보장될 수 있도록 해달라고 간청했다”면서 “트럼프 대통령은 선거에서 농민, 그리고 중국의 대두 및 밀 구매량 증가가 미치는 중요성에 대해 강조했다”

폼페이오 “트럼프는 완전히 거짓말쟁이” 험담
볼턴 전 보좌관은 트럼프 대통령이 2018년 6월 싱가포르에서 김 위원장과 정상회담을 할 당시 “그는 완전히 거짓말쟁이(He is so full of shit)”이라고 적은 쪽지를 자신에게 건넸다고 밝혔으며, 볼턴 전 보좌관은 북·미 정상회담 한달 뒤 폼페이오 장관이 트럼프 대통령의 대북 외교에 대해 “성공 확률 제로(zero probability of success)”라고 단언했다고 밝혔습니다.

“트럼프, 중국의 신장 인권 탄압도 지지”
CNN에 따르면 볼턴 전 보좌관은 회고록에서 “2019년 6월 오사카 G20 개막 만찬 날 시 주석은 통역사 한명만 배석한 자리에서 트럼프 대통령에게 신장 지역에 강제 수용소를 세우는 기본적인 이유를 설명했다”면서 “우리 측 통역에 따르면 트럼프 대통령은 시 주석에서 수용소 건설을 진행하라고 말했고, 그것은 트럼프 대통령은 정확하게 옳은 일이라고 생각했던 것”이라고 말했다고 합니다. 볼턴 전 보좌관은 “매슈 포틴저 국가안보회의 부보좌관은 트럼프 대통령이 2017년 11월 중국 순방 당시 매우 유사한 말을 했다고 내게 말한 적이 있다”고 부연했다네요.
