테슬라에서 새로운 원통형 배터리를 발표하였습니다.

Battery day 2020 행사에서 테슬라는 전기 자동차의 주행 거리와 전력을 향상시킬 수 있는 "Tabless" 배터리를 개발할 계획을 발표하였는데요.

앞으로 테슬라는 자체적으로 새로운 배터리를 생산할 것이며, Tesla CEO Elon Musk는 비용을 획기적으로 절감하고 가솔린 구동 차량과 동일한 가격에 전기 자동차를 판매 할 수있을 것이라고 발표하였습니다.

Tabless 배터리는 새로운 원통형 배터리라고 볼 수 있는데요, 새로운 테슬라의 배터리를 통해 전기 자동차의 배터리 팩 용량을 측정하는 데 가장 일반적으로 사용되는 에너지 단위 인 킬로와트시 당 비용을 낮출 것으로 예상됩니다.

The battery is also expected to be produced for the first time on a new assembly line near an automobile plant in Fremont, Calif., with an annual output of 10 gigawatt hours by the end of 2021.
