빅히트 엔터테인먼트, 연내 상장하게 될까요?

한국거래소 유가증권시장본부는 지난 7일 빅히트엔터테인먼트에 대한 주권 상장 예비심사 결과 상장요건을 충족해 상장에 적격한 것으로 확정했다고 밝혔는데요,

사실 빅히트 측에서 지난 5월 28일 빅히트의 주권 상장 예비신청서를 접수한 상태였는데, 추가 서류 제출 등의 문제로 인하여 결과 발표가 지연된 면이 있습니다.
사실 45일 내 발표를 해야했기 때문에, 어느정도 상장예비심사에 통과될 것으로 전망되었던 상태입니다.

 

빅히트 엔터테인먼트, 기업가치는 어느정도 될까요?

빅히트 엔터테인먼트는 음반 제작 및 연예인 매니지먼트 업체로 2005년 방시혁 대표가 설립했는데요,

방 대표는 현재 보통주 지분 43%(2018년 기준)를 보유한 빅히트 엔터테인먼트의 최대 주주입니다. 방 대표의 친척인 방준혁 의장이 이끄는 넷마블이 2018년 2014억원을 투자해 2대 주주(25.22%)가 되었고, 빅히트 엔터테인먼트를 단숨에 업계 최대 규모의 기획사로 이끈 BTS는 2018년 빅히트 엔터테인먼트와 7년 재계약을 했습니다.

그동안 전문가들은 빅히트의 기업 가치를 1조원대에서 많게는 4조원대로 추산했는데요, 현대경제연구원은 ‘방탄소년단의 성공 요인 분석과 활용 방안’ 보고서를 통해 2018년 기준 빅히트의 기업 가치를 1조2800억∼2조28000억원으로 평가하였습니다.

빅히트는 2019년 매출이 5879억원으로 전년보다 95% 늘었고 영업이익이 975억원으로 17% 증가했다고 잠정실적을 발표했었는데요, 증권가에서는 이를 반영해 빅히트의 기업 가치가 4조원이 넘었을 것으로 봤습니다.
김현용 이베스트투자증권 연구원은 “빅히트는 올해 39회차, 230만 명 규모의 글로벌 스타디움 투어를 발표했다”며 “최소 주가수익비율(PER) 30배 이상에서 최대 40~50배까지도 시장에서 부여할 가능성이 있으며 예상 시가 총액은 3조~4조5000억원 수준으로 추정된다”고 예상한 바 있습니다. PER은 주가를 주당순이익(EPS)으로 나눈 값으로 주식의 가치를 계산할 때 사용하는 지표입니다.

최근 주관사들을 통해 드러난 빅히트의 몸값은 6조원대에 육박하는데요, 국내 3대 연예기획사인 SM(6940억원), JYP(8022억원), YG(5452억원)를 다 합쳐도 범접하기 어려운 숫자입니다(3월 3일 기준 시가총액). 유가증권상장사 시가총액으로도 KT, LG유플러스, 기업은행, 한진칼 등 웬만한 대기업을 뛰어넘는다 볼 수 있겠습니다.

 

빅히트 엔터테인먼트의 기업 구조를 알아볼까요?

우선, 빅히트 엔터테인먼트가 주창하는 슬로건을 알아야 합니다.

BTS를 중심으로 글로벌에서 돈을 벌었지만, 반대로 국내 산업 측면에서 로컬 문턱은 넘어서지 못한 상태로 평가된 상황에서, 이러한 IPO가 국내 산업에서도 큰 성공을 거둘 수 있을지 지켜봐야겠습니다.
