Celltrion Corona19 antibody treatment, CT-P59, has entered Phase I clinical trials.

In fact, Celltrion's antibody treatment has been noted for its effectiveness in neutralizing the corona19 variant virus G614, which appeared in the secondary spread of Itaewon Club in Beijing, China in the neutralization evaluation test of Qibon.

The first phase of clinical trials in the UK will focus on identifying early indicators of drug efficacy, such as the neutralizing and medicinal effects of CT-P59, in patients with mild corona19.

CT-P59 is a corona19 antibody therapeutic agent that has a mechanism to neutralize the virus by binding to the S protein (S1 subunit) of SARS-CoV-2 to prevent viral penetration into cells.
It can be seen as a human-derived antibody treatment developed with antibodies derived from corona19 recovery patients.
