코로나19 공기 감염 가능성이라구요?

그동안 증거가 없다고 일관되게 말했던 WHO 가 금일 공기 감염의 가능성을 인정했다고 합니다.

WHO는 특히 혼잡하고 폐쇄돼 있어서 환기가 잘 안 되는 환경에서는 공기 전염의 가능성을 배제할 수 없다고 설명했습니다. 다만 해당 증거가 확정적이지는 않기 때문에 증거를 추가로 수집하고 해석할 필요가 있다고 전했습니다.

위 발표된 내용에 따르면, 환기가되지 않는 실내 환경에서 호흡, 말하기, 기침 및 재채기 중에 생성 된 에어로졸을 통해 SARS-CoV-2에 노출 될 수 있다고 하였습니다.
해당 내용의 근거가 좀더 발견되었고, WHO에서 이에 대한 가능성을 고려하고 있다고 볼 수 있겠네요.

 

이 와중에 미국이 WHO 탈퇴를 선언했습니다.

외신은 유엔 사무총장에게 미국의 WHO 탈퇴서가 제출됐다고 전했고, 이후 탈퇴 절차를 거쳐 탈퇴가 2021년에 최종 결정될 것이라고 합니다. 
트럼프 대통령은 그동안 중국에서 코로나19가 발병한 이후 WHO가 중국에 편향된 태도를 보이고 늑장 대응을 했다며 자금 지원을 보류하는 등 WHO 개혁을 요구했구요, 또 지난 5월 18일 테워드로스 아드하놈 거브러여수스 WHO 사무총장에게 보낸 서한을 공개하고 30일 이내에 실질적 개선을 이뤄내지 않으면 일시적 지원 중단을 영구적 중단으로 전환하고 회원국 지위 유지도 다시 생각하겠다고 압박했었죠.

이후 5월 29일에는 기자회견을 열어 "미국이 (WHO에) 1년에 4억5천만 달러를 내는데 중국은 4천만 달러밖에 내지 않으면서 WHO를 완전히 통제하고 있다"고 비난하며 WHO와 모든 관계를 끊겠다고 선언하기도 하였습니다.
결국 실행에 옮겼네요.

Then, on May 29, a press conference was held, saying, "The United States (to WHO) pays $450 million a year, but China has full control over WHO, paying only $40 million." He even declared that he would quit.
